My freelance practice has been ongoing since 1998 and includes branding, signage, publication design, custom screen printing, and block printing. Clients include Canada Post, Spearhead Brewing Company, Shafton Thomas Group, Wiseman Counselling Services, Index Exchange, Drink Lab Inc....

Studio Experience
2004–2012 SOS Design Inc.
Senior Designer in charge of creative projects including branding and identity, packaging, trade booths, editorial, online, and a broad range of print material. Involved in project management and client meetings, presentations and consulting. Major achievements include ~ Concept and Design of the YMCA 2010 annual report: “A New YMCA Vision for a Great Future” was awarded The International Association of Business Communicators Gold Quill Award for excellence in business communication. This publication was chosen from nearly 90 entries from 26 countries.

2000–2004 Gottschalk+Ash International
Intermediate Designer involved in the creative process, design and roll-out of branding programs, way-finding signage, environmental design, brochures and booklets, print coordination, press approvals and proofing. Major achievements include ~ Winning multiple competitions for postage stamp concepts and design. Inclusion in the Library and Archives Canada (Collections Canada) for design of postage stamp issues. Inclusion in the Canadian Postal Archives (Philatelic Heritage) for design of postage stamp issues including: Christmas stamp commemorating 100th anniversary of the Santa Claus Parade, Queen Elizabeth II with photo by Bryan Adams, Queen Elizabeth II coronation, Queen Elizabeth II diamond jubilee.

1998–2000 James Ireland Design Inc.
Contributed in the production of magazines from the design of the masthead, page layout, photo and illustration assigning and art directing to print coordination, press approvals and proofing.

1997–1998 Reactor Art + Design
Junior designer involved in projects for a summer and worked part-time during my fourth year of College.
